On 17 June 2026, the ERDF and ESF+ project fair will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm in and around the TIETZ. Residents are warmly invited to discover the diverse range of sustainable urban development projects in Chemnitz and to engage in conversation with project organisers, associations and other stakeholders.

Visitors can look forward to a varied afternoon with information stands, creative hands-on activities and fascinating insights into the funded projects. Whether building small wooden structures, trying their hand at linocut printing, designing greeting cards or testing their skills in movement and dexterity games – there are plenty of opportunities for both children and adults to get involved. Creative activities centred on fossils, the environment and plants also invite visitors to explore.

In addition, those interested can find out about local advisory services and chat with project stakeholders over a healthy drink. Small surprises at the wheel of fortune round off the programme.
