Human Library – People as ‘living books’

A section of KARREE49 will be transformed into a living library: people will share their personal stories – humorous, quiet, loud, courageous, vulnerable, everyday or extraordinary. Visitors can listen, strike up a conversation, ask questions or simply be amazed.

What to expect

•  Personal stories from ‘living books’
• Open conversations in a safe and welcoming atmosphere
• Encounters that bring people together and open up new perspectives
• A format inspired by the international Human Library

Snacks & drinks

Snacks and drinks will be available on a donation basis in the courtyard of KARREE49 during the Sonnenhoffest.

Music & programme

The festival offers a varied programme throughout the building. DJ Maulwurf will be creating a summery atmosphere in the courtyard.

The Sonnenhoffest brings together neighbourhood, culture and dialogue. The Human Library enriches the festival with personal stories and genuine encounters.
