Taupunkt e.V. | Meeting points – Meeting place for lived stories

http://www.taupunkt-chemnitz.de

New stories welcome!!!

Every Wednesday since mid-2024, a handful of people have been meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sonnenberg to work on the "Gelebte Geschichten" (Lived Stories) event series – a globally successful concept known as the "Human Library", which has already been implemented in 80 countries from Munich to Tokyo, from Bangladesh to Sydney.

Goals and benefits

Participating in meeting points boosts self-esteem, makes it easier to find your way around the neighbourhood and promotes communication skills through art education approaches.

There is a unique story in each of us

"Gelebte Geschichten" offers the opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds. Each of them has a special story to tell.YOUtoo can share your personal story and become part of this inspiring initiative.

Respect andwell-being

We attach great importance to the well-being of all participants. Therefore, everyone is trained in the art of respectful dialogue and setting boundaries. Should any inappropriate behaviour occur, we will intervene. Romy Buchmann will lead the event and ensure that all participants feel comfortable and respected. For those who still want to talk after the library has closed, a cup of tea, coffee or glass of water will be available.
