IYAGI
are short, mostly humorous stories passed down by word of mouth that are typical of Korean folk culture. The old storytelling tradition is enriched by newly created stories.
For Chemnitz, she tells of incredible women and heroines who give us courage and hope and inspire us to dream.
About the artist:Soogi Kang lives in Berlin, is a professional storyteller and trainer at VEE and StoryCoach, an actress for film and theatre, and has her roots in South Korea.
She travels nationally and internationally to festivals with workshops. She narrates with strong expression and gestures, is humorous and sings powerful songs, sometimes with a drum, sometimes with a fan, sometimes coarse, sometimes funny, sometimes making you cry and sometimes making you laugh.
Soogi Kang is also known from film and television.
