Taupunkt e.V. | Meeting Points – KLANGWERKSTATT THEATRE

http://taupunkt-chemnitz.de

Making music • Exploring technology • Building self-confidence

A programme for adults who are looking to change direction, improve their communication skills or are looking for work. At the Klangwerkstatt, you can develop your expressiveness, your stage presence, basic technical skills and – quite practically – your German language skills within a supportive community.

What can you expect?

• Try out instruments: drums, harmonium, violin and more
• Digital music production: beats on a PC, synthesisers, samplers
• Getting to know audio technology: mixing desk, effects, live sound
• Collaborative creation: We’ll develop the music for a theatre production.

What will you gain from the project?

• Performing with confidence: music and technology as a training ground for communication
• Technical insight: An introduction to music and event technology
• Creative teamwork: No pressure to perform, plenty of hands-on experience
• Accessible to all: No prior knowledge required, no need to read music, German not essential
• Community: You’ll become part of an open, supportive team.

Who is it for?

• Adults aged 18 and over
• People looking to change direction or seeking employment
• Anyone who’d like to try out music and technology
