Call for a Christmas gnome workshop in preparation for the Sonnenberg neighbourhood Christmas market
✨ The elves want to move in - but their workshop has to be built first!
We are looking for creative helpers, including day-care centre groups, families and schoolchildren, to help with crafting, painting, decorating and dreaming. ✨
📅 Start: 28.11.2025 09:30 to 11:00 and 12:30 to 14:30
📍 Location: Social department stores' "Sparbüchse" car park, Lessingstraße 13, 09130 Chemnitz
🎁 Bring along: good humour, busy hands and possibly a few sticks for crafting, natural materials
Let's create a place full of magic together - so that the elves can get started on time for the neighbourhood Christmas market the next day!
You can come along spontaneously as individuals.
Larger groups please book in advance:
In preparation for the neighbourhood Christmas market, you can also listen to a few excerpts from the dress rehearsal of the fairy tale "Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella - The True Story" by Heda Bayer, reinterpreted with the art of storytelling.
One day later, on 29 November 2025, you can come back to the Sonnenberger Kiezweihnachtsmarkt from 2 to 6 p.m. for the full story.
We are also happy to ask for a small donation for materials, children's punch and various treats.
