Dramatic Games
Jeux Dramatiques are methods that guide free play without a script or fixed roles. A story, a poem or a song can form the basis for a play. It is also possible to act out a theme or an image.
Just start playing. Theatre without fixed roles or a script, acting out your own ideas.
The course provides practical guidance on how to lead a Jeux with children of nursery and primary school age. One morning and three evenings, which can also be attended individually, introduce participants to the methodology.
In the first session, a story guides the play.
In the second, a story emerges freely based on the group’s ideas; in the third, group dynamics are practised; and in the fourth, healing and developmental stories are explored.
In all four courses, the focus is on play; structure and methodology are taught through this.
The course is suitable for everyone, but particularly for educators working with children aged 3–10.
We want to discuss together how Jeux can be implemented in different groups.
Anyone who simply fancies playing is very welcome.
Upon completion of all four courses, you will receive a certificate of attendance from Taupunkt e.V. upon request.
Facilitator: Katharina Buchmann, born 1981 – Theatre educator (BuT), MA in History and Slavic Studies. She studied in Leipzig and Warsaw and is a mediator specialising in school mediation and Non-Violent Communication (NVC) for children and young people. Since 2021, she has been working freelance with children and young people with diverse needs and backgrounds. Her work often focuses on self-awareness and building connections.
