Minze Meier is paralysed with worry; even her husband August’s loving attempts to cheer her up are of little help. But one day, a baby bird flutters into her vegetable garden and straight into her heart. The young blackbird demands round-the-clock surrogate mother care. This brings chaos, sleepless nights and life to the house, until the little bird flies the nest and Mrs Meier takes flight …

An exceptionally poetic production about the healing power of affection. Performed as a solo piece on a hand-puppet stage lovingly designed down to the last detail, featuring characters full of personality that even bring a vegetable garden to life.
